In Kavinagar police station area of Ghaziabad, a newly married couple committed suicide by hanging. On Tuesday, the bodies of both were found hanging on the noose in a rented house in Mahendra Enclave.
Police investigation revealed that both were cousins in the relationship and married in Ghaziabad court on 17 February.
The girl’s family was unhappy with this marriage and was allegedly threatening her.
In the suicide note received from the spot, both of them have threatened their lives from the girl’s family.

What is the whole matter?
Originally residents of village Allapur in Farrukhabad district of Uttar Pradesh, Piyush Singh and Nisha were living on rent in Ghaziabad’s Mahendra Enclave (F-Block).
Piyush was living by working as a laborer.
Both committed suicide by hanging their room.
On Tuesday afternoon, the landlord informed the police.
Police broke the door and took down the bodies and informed the family members.
According to police, both of them committed suicide on Monday night.
When the door did not open till Tuesday afternoon, the neighbors looked through the window and the bodies of both were found hanging on the noose.
The girl’s family was unhappy with marriage
Piyush and Nisha were cousins in the relationship, so their families did not accept this marriage.
Both went missing from home on 16 February and got married in Ghaziabad court on 17 February the next day.
Nisha’s family opposed the marriage and allegedly threatened both.

A two -page suicide note was recovered from the spot, in which both of them threatened their lives from Nisha’s family.

Police believe that both of them took this step under local pressure and family pressure.
Police investigation and further action
ACP Kavinagar Swatantra Kumar Singh said that the family will be questioned.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
The suicide note is being investigated deeply to find out how serious the threats of the family were.
If the allegations against the family are found to be correct, then legal action will be taken.
