China has imposed additional duty on some agricultural products imported from the United States. China has taken this step in response to the tariff imposed by the United States on Chinese goods. US President Donald Trump has doubled additional tariffs on Chinese goods to 20 percent. According to the information received, China will now put 15 percent more tariffs on agricultural products like chicken, wheat and maize.

In addition, China will impose 10 percent of additional tariffs on other US agricultural products including soybean, pork, beef, seafood and fruits and vegetables. Tariff war has been going on for some time between the world’s two largest economies, the United States and China. Donald Trump has increased tariff rates by adopting a policy of Tit and like the US First and like. China has also entered the tariff war to combat Trump’s efforts to strengthen the US economy. After the Trump administration imposed an additional 10% tariff on Chinese goods in February, China imposed tariffs on natural gas and some American products.
