Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal on Sunday made headlines after he was spotted with RJ Mahvash watching the Champions Trophy final from the stands at Dubai International Cricket Stadium amid dating rumours. Soon after, their photos went viral as they were seen enjoying their time together. Amid this, Yuzvendra’s estranged wife, Dhanashree Verma shared yet another cryptic post on her social media.
The post read, “Blaming women is always in fashion.”

Last year, Dhanashree was massively trolled for her viral photo with choreographer Pratik Utekar, sparking rumours of a romantic relationship while she was married to Yuzvendra.
In the photo, Pratik was seen hugging Dhanashree and posing closely with her at Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11’s finale party.
Soon after, she lashed out at trolls, and wrote, “I have never in my life been affected by trolls or memes because had a lot of maturity in ignoring or laughing it out loud until this very recent troll occurred. The reason it has affected me this time is because it has affected my family and my near and dear ones. Since you all have the freedom on social media platforms to speak your heart and characters out, that you tend to forget or choose to ignore the sentiments of us and our families. This led to the decision of me taking a detox from social media and trust me, it was very peaceful.”
Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin K. Gupta, confirmed that the divorce petition was filed with mutual consent and presented before the court in Bandra, Mumbai. “Mr. Chahal reached a settlement for obtaining Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A Petition for Divorce by mutual consent was presented before the Hon’ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is currently sub-judice,” Chahal’s lawyer told Hindustan Times.
Dhanashree and Yuzvendra are yet to release an official statement regarding their divorce, but their social media posts and cryptic notes seemingly confirm their separation.
Dhanashree tied the knot with Yuzvendra in December 2020.
