Special preparations in Kashi Vishwanath Temple
The Kashi Vishwanath Temple is decorated grandly on the occasion of Ekadashi. Baba Vishwanath, Mata Parvati, Ganesh and Karthikeya have been specially decorated. Apart from this, the ritual of offering turmeric and oil to God is performed and Abil-Gulal is offered at the feet of God. There was a crowd of devotees in the temple since morning. After special prayers throughout the day, in the evening, the silver statue of Baba Vishwanath will be seated in the palanquin and touring across the city. Devotees will participate in the festival by doing wreath during the procession.
