Madhya Pradesh March 10 Weather Update: Bhopal, Indore-Ujjain Belt touches 37°C during the day | Pixabay

Indore (Madhya Pradesh), March 10; With the scorching sun right up, Madhya Pradesh seems to welcome early summer. The highest average temperature across the state touches 37°C. The major cities of the state, like Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and Gwalior, witnessed a hike of 1-4°C during the day. Amongst all the cities, Ratlam turned out to be the hottest city, with the temperature touching 37.6°C at noon.

According to the IMD, the following week is going to witness a rise in temperature. Gwalior, Chambal, and Ujjain belts are likely to experience a surge in temperature. Bhopal is likely to witness maximum day temperature at 36°C on Tuesday.

On Monday, amongst all the major cities in Madhya Pradesh, the Indore-Ujjain belt and Ratlam are the hottest, with the temperature touching 37°C in the day. Whereas Bhopal, comparatively, is cooler than the other cities, with the highest temperature touching 33°C and witnessing 19°C during the night.

Similarly, on Monday Narmadapuram recorded 36.8 degrees, Mandla-Shivpuri 36 degrees, Seoni 35.4 degrees, and Damoh 35.2 degrees. The temperature reached 35.1 degrees in Guna, 35 degrees in Dhar, Narsinghpur, Tikamgarh-Khajuraho, 34.8 degrees in Khargone, 34.2 degrees in Betul, and 34 degrees in Malajkhand.

If we dive into the data of the last 10 years in Madhya Pradesh, the nights are cold and days are hot in the month of March. There is also a history of rain in March. This time also the weather is similar. The maximum day temperature in Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain can cross 40 degrees in the third month of the year. Whereas in the night, the temperature would range from 10°C to 17°C.
