Bhupesh Baghel: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided the residence of Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel at Bhilai in the morning (March 10) in the morning. What is the charge of ED?
According to the ED, Chhattisgarh State Marketing Corporation Limited (CSMCL) was formed in 2017 for the purchase and sale of liquor, but with the change of government it became a weapon of the syndicate. It is alleged that the contract for all the works related to CSMCL was being given to the people associated with this syndicate. The ED claims that Syndicate received a ‘heavy commission’ from the sale of illegal liquor, the amount was given to Anwar Dhebar and then shared it with the political party.
