Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): A new 33/11 kV power grid was inaugurated in Abhinandan Nagar, Mandsaur on Sunday. Built at a cost of Rs 284 lakh under RDSS scheme funded by Narendra Modi government, this grid will ensure an uninterrupted power supply to Abhinandan Nagar and nearby areas.
The inauguration was led by Lok Sabha MP Sudhir Gupta, Rajya Sabha MP Banshilal Gurjar and Municipal President Ramadevi Gurjar, along with other officials and local representatives. During the event, MP Sudhir Gupta highlighted the government’s commitment to development without discrimination.
He encouraged people to take advantage of solar energy initiatives launched by the Central government and spoke about healthcare, irrigation and air travel improvements in the region.
MP Banshilal Gurjar stated that this grid would benefit areas like Jaggakhedi, Lalghati and Bhunyakhedi. He also mentioned plans for two new water tanks under Amrit 2 Scheme to improve water supply pressure.
Municipal President Ramadevi Gurjar expressed gratitude, stating that the grid would solve low-voltage issues. Officials confirmed that the project would directly benefit 4,500 consumers and indirectly help 10k residents in the region. The event was conducted by Bhagwandas Vijayvargiya.
