The Kerala High Court granted bail to the son in a shocking case, who attacked his own mother with a knife for not giving money to celebrate on the eve of New Year. The mother of the accused appealed to the court that she could not see her son rotting in jail.
Court bowed in front of mother’s love
Justice PV Kunkrishnan decided to grant bail to the accused in view of the mother’s pain and love. They said, “The mental state of the youth of our country is surprising and worrying.”
The Justice further said, “The accused attacked his own mother for not giving money for celebration on the eve of New Year. Now the same mother is giving an affidavit in the court and saying that she has no objection to her son’s bail. ”

Mother’s love greater than wounds
The court also commented that perhaps the wounds on the woman’s body may not have completely healed, but his love for the son proved to be bigger than those wounds. Justice said, “A mother’s love for her son is like a rose, which blooms in every situation.”
Society will have to keep an eye on the younger generation
The court, while granting bail, advised the society and parents to keep a close watch on the younger generation and make sure their children are in the right company.
Significantly, the accused son was arrested on 1 January. A case was registered against him under Section 118 (serious injury to weapons) and section 109 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
