The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has made the process of updating the EPF profile for its members easier. Now members whose universal account number (UAN) is linked to Aadhaar can easily update their EPF profile without uploading any documents.

But now if your UAN is verified by Aadhaar, then you can update information like name, date of birth, gender, nationality, parents’ name, matrimonial status, spouse’s name, joining and leaving date in your profile.

Go to EPFO’s official website www.epfindia.gov.in and open the Unified Member Portal.
Login by entering UAN, password and captcha.
Click on the “Manage” option given above.
Choose the option “Modify Basic Details”.
Fill the correct information according to your Aadhaar card and submit it.
Check the status of your update request using the “Track Request” option.
