CBSE Class 12 Maths Board Paper Exam Pattern 2025: The class 12 maths board exam is going to happen tomorrow, March 8, 2025, between 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The exam will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

This year’s academic exam began from February 15 to April 4, 2025. A total of 1,788,165 students appeared for the class 12 exams across 7,842 centres in India and 26 other countries. This was an increase as compared to 2023-24 where 1,680,256 students appeared in the Class 12 exams, and of them, 1,450,174 cleared it, thus the pass percentage was 87.98%.

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2025: Maths paper exam pattern

1. Total Marks: 80 (Theory)

2. Duration: 3 hours

3. Sections:

Section A: 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark.

Section B: 5 Very Short Answer questions, containing 2 marks each.

Section C: 6 Short Answer questions include 3 marks each.

Section D: 4 Long Answer questions, having 5 marks each.

CBSE Board Exams 2025: Important guidelines

1. Applicants may carry a clear pouch, geometry or pencil box, blue or royal blue ink pen, ballpoint pen, or gel pen, scale, writing pad, eraser, analogue watch, transparent water bottle, Metro card, bus pass, and cash, amid other things.

2. Before writing the exam, students should thoroughly study all of the directions given on their question papers and answer sheets.

3. Aspirants are obliged to keep their admit cards in the exam hall. Regular students have to keep their school ID card, while private applicants must present a government-issued photo ID.

4. Regular students will be in their school uniforms, while private applicants will bring light attire.
