MP: Congress To Bring Adjournment Motion In House Over Scam In Transport Department |

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Congress has rolled up its sleeves to corner government in the House over the Transport Department scam after the probe agencies acted against its former employee Saurabh Sharma. The opposition is planning to bring an adjournment motion in the House over the issue.

The party has advised its legislators to come to the House with full preparation on various issues. The Governor will address the House on March 10. On March 11, the Congress may bring an adjournment motion on the raids on Sharma’s residential premises.

The opposition will also press for the minister Govind Singh Rajput’s resignation. The party is gathering evidence about the extortions at the check posts that continued for a long time and about Sharma’s appointment in the Transport Department.

There will be only nine sittings of the assembly in the upcoming budget session in which the Governor’s address and budget will be discussed.

Against this backdrop, the Congress would like to mount pressure on the government over the Transport Department scam, so that a discussion is held in the House.

On the other hand, the government is also getting ready to counter the opposition on the Transport Department. The government is collecting information about the irregularities in the department during the Congress rule.
