Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav’s Law And Order Meet Remains Focused On Naxal Issue |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Chief Minister has asked police officials, forest, BSNL and the rural development department to sort out issues as early as possible, so that left wing extremist (LWE) problem can be eradicated by March 31, 2026 officials said here on Thursday. Recently Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, DGP Kailash Makwana visited Balaghat district.
During his visit, the CM took meeting with officials and took stock of preparedness to eradicate Naxal problem from the state, as decided by Union Home Minister Amit Shah by March 31,2026. During the meeting in Balaghat, the issue of network towers, road construction, forest permission to lay cables and many others came to the fore.
In the meeting in Bhopal, the CM gave timeline to every department to complete their part of responsibility. The CM has also approved 850 posts of ‘police helpers’, so that police combating the LWE people will have more information and support from locals.
The CM gave instructions in the meeting to complete the work of setting up mobile towers on priority basis for ease of communication. He ordered to take action to approve increase in Hawk Force for setting up new security camps. Eradicating Maoist problem from the state is the top priority. In view of this, concerted efforts should be made.
He also ordered to complete ongoing road construction work soon to facilitate movement of residents of remote inaccessible areas in Naxal-affected districts.

LWE The CM praised action taken against LWE in Balaghat and nearby areas in the meeting. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized from the Naxalites killed during search. The bold action was taken by anti-Naxal Hawk Force of the police and the local police force in the forest area near Chhattisgarh border.
