Three brilliant centuries were seen in the second semi -final played in Lahore –

David Miller criticized ICC for schedule

Miller was angry that South Africa’s team had to go to Dubai and then Lahore before the semi -finals.
He said that this increased the fatigue of the team and was not an ‘ideal situation’.

David Miller’s statement-
“It was an hour and 40 -minute flight, but we had to travel this, which was not right. Soon after the match, we had to fly to Dubai and then in the morning we had to come back to Lahore. It did not even get the time of recovery properly. “

Taking a dig at the ICC, he said that this schedule was not right for the players.

How was the tournament schedule disputed?

South Africa and Australia had to go from Pakistan to Dubai after group stage, as India refused to play in Pakistan for security reasons.
All matches in India were kept in Dubai, causing changes in the schedule.
After the result of the last league match between India and New Zealand, it was decided that India would play from Australia in the semi -finals.
This meant that South Africa returned to Pakistan and had to play semi -finals in Lahore.

This continuous journey affected the South Africa team, expressing displeasure by David Miller.
