The Romanian Embassy is offering scholarships to Indian students for studies in Romania during the academic year 2025-26. The project will help strengthen academic excellence and cultural exchange between India and Romania.
The deadline for application is March 12, 2025. The applicants must provide an entire application file, with valid study papers, and follow the enrollment deadlines.
Scholarship benefits:

The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses for the duration of the program.

Scholarship recipients will also have access to Romanian language courses and cultural activities.
Eligible fields of study and programs:

Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs are available in various disciplines.

Medicine, Dental Medicine, and Pharmacy are not eligible fields.

Indian students can apply for programs in:
– Engineering
– Economics
– Social Sciences
– Humanities
– Other eligible disciplines as per university offerings.
Eligibility criteria:

To attain the minimum average outcome of 7 (or “Good” based on the Romanian grading system) on their recent academic studies
