Telangana Legislative Council Election: The BJP has won the Telangana Legislative Council election with a majority. He has won two of the three by -elections in this constituency. The victory of two of the three MLC seats has increased the BJP’s dominance in the Congress -ruled state.

Appreciating the victory of BJP -backed candidates, Union Coal Minister and BJP Telangana Unit President G.K. Kishan Reddy said that this victory is the victory of youth and teachers, who have decisively rejected the Congress due to its unsuccessful rule and failure to overcome their concerns.

Kishan Reddy said on the social media platform ‘X’, ‘Congress fielded all its ministers, MLAs, MPs and spent a lot, yet they could not retain the Karimnagar graduate seat. This result gives a strong message to the Congress, which came to power by making false promises to the public. This victory is important in view of elections held in 13 districts, 43 assembly seats and six parliamentary areas and 270 mandals in the state. Which reflects BJP’s growing strength in Telangana.

 

Election results of 3 seats

Elections were held under the preference polling system for Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimanagar Graduate and Teacher Constituency and Warangal-Khammam-Nallada Teachers constituency. That is, elections were held for one graduate and two teacher constituencies. Out of these, BJP -backed Chaudhary Filk Reddy defeated Narendra Reddy of Congress by more than 5,000 votes in Karimnagar graduate constituency. BJP’s Malka Komaraiya won from Karimnagar Teachers Constituency and independent candidate Shripal Reddy Pingali (supported by Teachers Association) won from Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teachers constituency.

PM Modi praised

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also thanked the people of the state for giving the BJP ‘unprecedented support’ and praised the party workers for working diligently among the people. Modi said in a post on ‘X’, ‘I thank the people of Telangana for this unprecedented support in the MLC elections. Congratulations to our newly elected candidates. I am proud that party workers are working with full dedication among the public.
