Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UP STF) and Punjab Police arrested an active terrorist of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) from Kaushambi district in a joint operation.
The arrested terrorist has been identified as Lazarus Christ, who hails from Kurlian village in Ramdas area of Amritsar, Punjab. The arrest took place around 3:20 am and three hand grenades, two detonators, a foreign pistol and 13 live cartridges were recovered from him.
DGP Prashant Kumar revealed in the press conference that this terrorist was trying to carry out a major terrorist incident during Mahakumbh.

Terrorist Lazarus Christ’s wires related to Pakistan
UP Police DGP Prashant Kumar said that Lazarus Christ was constantly in contact with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and BKI’s foreign module.
Weapons and explosives were being supplied from Pakistan through drones.
The terrorist attack was planned during Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
After this he was in the process of escaping to Portugal.
Staying in Kaushambi, Lucknow and Kanpur was finalizing the conspiracy.
