A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed recently between the Bengaluru Division Sports Association (BDSA) and Invictus Prime Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant milestone in the journey of athlete development under ‘Project Triumph’ launched by BDSA. This initiative, aimed at providing comprehensive support services to elite athletes, is a first-of-its-kind collaboration between BDSA, an association that manages close to 80 athletes across six major disciplines, and Invictus Prime, a renowned sports training and performance enhancement organization based in Bengaluru.
The collaboration will focus on providing a holistic approach to athlete development, including Strength & Conditioning, Physiotherapy, Diet & Nutrition programs, and a range of other athlete support services. The goal is to ensure that BDSA’s athletes receive top-notch training and support to excel in their respective sports, with a particular emphasis on enhancing performance, reducing the risk of injury, and optimizing recovery.
At the MoU signing ceremony, which was held at Bengaluru Division Headquarter, was attended by Coaches and Athletes of BDSA, and the MoU was signed by Shreyas G Hosur (Secretary, BDSA) & GG Pramila (OSD Sports) from Bengaluru Division, and, by Varun Shetty (Director) & Rohan Mathew, (Director) from Invictus Prime Pvt. Ltd.
The inaugural focus of the ‘Project Triumph’ program will be on three exceptional athletes who have been chose for their extraordinary achievements and potential:
1. Harshitha Jayaram – A remarkable swimmer who recently bagged three gold medals at the National Games conducted in Uttarakhand.
2. Ravina – A race walker who not only won a gold medal at the National Games but also broke a 26-year-old national meet record.
3. Maria Jaison – A pole vaulter who secured a bronze medal at the National Games.
These athletes are poised for major upcoming events, including the Inter Railway Championships, Open National Championships, and crucial qualifications for the 2026 Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.
The MoU between BDSA and Invictus Prime comes at a time when these athletes are gearing up for the highest levels of competition, and the partnership will offer them the edge they need to succeed. With the signing of this MoU, both BDSA and Invictus Prime are embarking on a new chapter in athlete development, one that promises to elevate Indian sports and bring out the best in its elite athletes.
