While cities like Pune and Mumbai are becoming overcrowded, the demand for IT and other industry parks in tier-two cities like Nashik, Kolhapur, and Satara is growing. Meanwhile, in a positive development for Satarkars, an important step has been taken towards industrial growth in Satara district, with the government approving a proposal for an IT park. The land transfer process for this IT park will be completed soon, marking an important stage in the development of Satara city, informed Satara BJP MP Udayanraje Bhosale during a press conference.

On this occasion, the Late Shri Ch. Pratapsingh Maharaj alias Dada Maharaj Library was inaugurated on the memorial day of Late Ch. Pratapsingh Maharaj.

Udayanraje Bhosale inaugurated the library. During his interaction with the media, Bhosale mentioned that discussions were held with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to bring industries to Satara district. He also spoke with Sudha Murthy of Infosys to learn about her experience with the IT park in Hubli.

“Since land availability in Pune is limited, it was decided to establish an IT park in Satara. A letter has been submitted to Industries Minister Uday Samant and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding this,” he added.

Additionally, he also followed up on the maintenance of the old palace in Satara district. There is a proposal to establish a museum in the palace to preserve the historical structure. However, the government needs to take urgent steps to address this, he added.
