Three security forces, including an assistant commandant of the CRPF Cobra Battalion, were injured in an IED hidden in the land by Naxalites in Chaibasa district of Jharkhand. The injured were immediately rushed to a hospital in Ranchi by air. In fact, a joint team of security forces and police personnel was conducting a search operation under the anti -Naxal operation in Baliba in Jaraikela police station area. Meanwhile, the bomb kept hidden in the ground suddenly exploded. The investigation revealed that the IED explosion occurred.
The injured soldiers were admitted to the hospital in Ranchi.
Confirming the incident, Chaibasa SP Ashutosh Shekhar said that there is a continuous campaign against the Naxalites. Meanwhile, an IDD exploded. CRPF assistant commandants and two jawans were immediately taken to the helipad and then taken to a hospital in Ranchi by helicopter.
Three Naxalite camps destroyed, many weapons recovered
Chaibasa police and security forces have demolished three Naxalite bases in the last 10 days and have recovered a large amount of weapons during this period. On Tuesday, the soldiers running a search operation demolished a camp in HussP forest. During this period, two identity cards weighing 10-10 kg were disabled. A native pistol, two carbines, a rifle, 10 kg IED, 58 detonators and other weapons were seized from the camp.
