In such a situation it is necessary to eliminate obesity. Now the Gujarat government has launched a special campaign for this.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has given information about this by posting on the social media platform X. The Chief Minister said that in today’s era, the rate of obesity is increasing in the whole world. Obesity increases the risk of various diseases including heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes.
‘Healthy Gujarat, obesity free Gujarat’
With the spirit of creating awareness among the countrymen, Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently called for a nationwide attempt to get rid of obesity in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. Putting forward his campaign, I request that we start a statewide campaign with the motto of ‘Healthy Gujarat, Obesity Free Gujarat’ on the occasion of ‘World Obesity Day’ in Gujarat too.

Under which the state government will not only make people aware of reducing obesity by organizing various programs, but it is also very important that all the citizens including leaders, corporates and voluntary organizations of different fields also join this campaign.
