This time, in the desire of more shops, a businessman has applied for five shops by making a status certificate of Rs 95 lakh in the name of his 72 -year -old mother. The license of several major liquor shops in the city has also applied in the name of all the family members along with the daughter -in -law.

More than 15 thousand applications for 580 shops

A total of 15342 people have applied for a total of 580 shops of Composite, Desi, Model Shop and Bhang in Gorakhpur district. According to departmental sources, more than 40 percent of the applicants are women and more than 25 percent of the elderly. It is being argued that many people have property tax in the name of their wife. At the same time, elderly people also have a good status. In February, more than 5000 people have made status certificates ranging from 5 lakh to 10 crore for liquor shops.
