Similarly, 80 -year -old elders of Daudpur area have also become applicants for a liquor shop to fulfill the wishes of their sons. Now everyone’s eyes are on the lottery coming out on 6 March.
The conditions of allocation of liquor shops in the state have put big liquor traders in trouble. According to the new condition, a person can take a maximum of two shops in the entire state. He broke it and applied for a license of liquor shop in the name of his elderly parents, brother, wife, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, trusted relatives as well as friends. A businessman from PPganj had six shops, including beer and desi liquor.
This time, in the desire of more shops, a businessman has applied for five shops by making a status certificate of Rs 95 lakh in the name of his 72 -year -old mother. The representative of an organization who has done politics of employees in the Education Department has also applied for a liquor shop by making a status certificate in the name of his new daughter -in -law. The license of several major liquor shops in the city has also applied in the name of all the family members along with the daughter -in -law.
More than 15 thousand applications for 580 shops
A total of 15342 people have applied for a total of 580 shops of Composite, Desi, Model Shop and Bhang in Gorakhpur district. According to departmental sources, more than 40 percent of the applicants are women and more than 25 percent of the elderly. It is being argued that many people have property tax in the name of their wife. At the same time, elderly people also have a good status. In February, more than 5000 people have made status certificates ranging from 5 lakh to 10 crore for liquor shops.

District Excise Officer Mahendra Pratap Singh said that as per his status, as per his status, he can be out of lottery process as soon as he is allotted a maximum of two shops in the entire state. The lottery is to be held on March 6. Documents are being investigated online.
