IGNOU Admission 2025: The last date for re-registration for all programs and for admission to all Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programs has been extended by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) till March 15. Interested candidates who have not applied yet can register online at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

This extension is for the IGNOU January 2025 session for all ODL and online programmes, except certificate programmes. It is the third extension for these programmes.

Candidates need to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature (each less than 100 KB), as well as their educational qualification and experience certificates (if any, each less than 200 KB). SC/ST/OBC candidates also need to upload their category certificates. It is essential that these documents are scanned from the original. Applicants who have finished registering are requested to review the form prior to submission. They must save or print out a copy for future use. Candidates should fill in all details correctly.

IGNOU Admission 2025: Check Required Documents

Candidates must upload the following documents:

– A scanned passport-sized photograph (under 100 KB)

– A scanned signature (under 100 KB)

– Supporting documents, which may include proof of date of birth, mark sheets, degree certificates, income certificates, caste certificates, disability certificates, UGC NET-JRF certificates, UGC NET scorecards, etc. (each under 500 KB)

Step 1: Go to the official website– ignouadm.samarth.edu.in

Step 2: Click on the link ‘New IGNOU Registration’ on the homepage

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to enter the required details on the IGNOU portal

Step 4: Now fill out the IGNOU application form and upload the required documents

Step 5: Pay the required application fees and click on the submit button
