New Delhi: 47 -year -old Thomas Gabriel Perera, a resident of Thumba in Kerala, was shot dead by Jordan soldiers when he was going to Israel from Jordan. Actually, the details of this incident took place on 10 February have recently surfaced. In this regard, the Indian Embassy in Jordan said on Sunday that an Indian citizen died in an unfortunate incident. The embassy is in touch with the family of the deceased. He is also in touch with Jordan officials. Efforts are being made to bring Perera’s body to Kerala.
Giving this information on the ‘Th’ post, the embassy said that Perera, who first came to Jordan on a visitor visa, was shot by Jordan soldiers while trying to enter Israel.
In addition, a relative of Perera, a native of Menculum, Kerala, was also shot by Jordan soldiers while trying to enter Israel from Jordan, but survived. He was treated and sent to India.
It is natural that this violence attracts attention to the perspective that the Israeli-Hamas war has now started in the western banks of the Jordan River.
