New Delhi. The government is building new expressways and highways for better connectivity of Noida’s Jewar Airport with other parts of the country. In this series, Greenfield Expressway is also being built from Faridabad to Jewar Airport. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has now received approval to elevate the 8.5 km of this expressway. By making this part elevated, the total cost of the project can increase by about 48 percent to ₹ 2,450 crore. Pillar construction work has started near Sector-65 for the elevated part. This part will work to connect the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the infrastructure of the local city. However, there is no agreement between NHAI and the state government regarding shared funding. Construction will accelerate after this agreement.

The six-lane Faridabad-Jever Expressway is being developed under the Bharatmala Project. Its total length is 31 kilometers. It will spread from Ballabhgarh to Dayanatpur village of Jewar and pass through villages like Chandavali, Sotai, Bahbalpur, Fafunda, Panhera Khurd, Narhavali, Mahmadpur, Hirapur, Mohana and Chansa. The objective of this project is to promote better road connectivity and economic development on the Faridabad-Jever route.

The journey of 2 hours will be completed in 15 minutes

Faridabad Jewar Expressway will connect Ballabhgarh to Jewar Airport in 15 minutes. Currently it takes about 2 hours to travel between the two places. The new expressway will be six lanes and the distance will be reduced from 90 kilometers to 31 kilometers. According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), development work has already started. The 22 km of this expressway will be in Haryana while the remaining 9 km will be in Uttar Pradesh.

This route will connect both Faridabad and Gurugram directly to Jewar Airport. The Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is very important. After this, real estate prices in nearby villages and other areas are likely to increase by 30 to 40 percent. As a result, this expressway will benefit both industry and real estate in addition to making linkage.
