Western Railway Headquarters Cultural Team Secures 2nd Position At Inter Railway Cultural Dance Competition In Chennai |
Western Railway Headquarters Cultural Team displayed a brilliant dance performance and bagged Second position in the recently concluded Inter Railway Cultural Dance Competition organized by the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai.
According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, the Cultural Team from WR HQ performed the energetic DIVLI dance, which is a folk dance of Goa. Their enthralling and lively performance was applauded by everyone. The competition saw participation of 18 Teams, both from Zonal Railways as well as Production Units.
Shri Ashok Kumar Misra, General Manager of Western Railway congratulated the winning Team for their outstanding feat and encouraged them to bring more such laurels for the organization. He stated that this win is a testament to the team’s hard work, dedication, and passion for cultural activities.
The participants of this vibrant performance were Sukanya Nagda, Urvi Suki, Rukmini Iyer, Lekhashree Mestry, Daksha Sonawane, Gargi Raut, Nina Mer, Rajendra Patil, Mitesh Mane and Vishal Kamble. Western Railway encourages and supports its employees in pursuing their cultural interests and participating in various competitions.
