Datia (Madhya Pradesh): A youth was killed after his friend called him for a party in Datia on Saturday.
The incident happened in Mudra village under Basai police station area in Datia district.
The accused, Ravindra Lodhi, along with his mother Gyanadevi and father Jaswant Lodhi, carried out the murder.

According to information, Pravendra Lodhi, a resident of Dhangi Nayagaon in Shivpuri, went to Mudra village after his friend Ravindra invited him to a party at his abandoned house.
That night, they drank alcohol together and ate fish.
According to Basai police station in-charge Sachidanand Sharma, when Pravendra got drunk, Ravindra, along with his mother and father, killed him. To hide the body, they dug a pit inside the house and buried him there.
The incident came to light when Pravendra’s father, Khemraj Lodhi, reached Mudra village to find his son. When he asked Ravindra about Pravendra, Ravindra and his family ran away.
This made the family suspicious, so they informed Pichhore police station. Since the location falls under Basai police station, the Basai police team reached the spot and searched the abandoned house.
Police noticed a foul smell coming from the house, so they dug the ground and found Pravendra’s body buried inside.
A case of murder and destroying evidence has been registered against Ravindra Lodhi, Gyanadevi Lodhi, and Jaswant Lodhi.
Police are searching for the three accused, and the real reason behind the murder will be known after their arrest.
