Through this, the Taliban can also recognize the number plate of 60 million people and their facial prices. Taliban spokesperson Khalid Zadran said in an interview to the BBC that “We can sit here and keep an eye on Kabul and its surrounding areas.” Apart from this, many people also support us and if they see any suspicious thing or person in the neighborhood, they immediately inform the police.
Officials say this spy network will be able to suppress the crime. But critics say that the Taliban will use this surveillance system to see if people are living according to Sharia law or not. Giving this information, Taliban police spokesperson Khalid Jadaran said, “We have also informed people that if you see a suspicious person or something suspicious in your neighborhood, you should immediately inform the police.” If she violates the Sharia law, she will be punished according to the Sharia law.
