The intelligence branch of the Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested former terrorist Parvez Ahmed Khan alias PK in a secret operation with the help of Delhi Police. According to the police, Khan is accused of staying connected with terrorist organizations and providing financial assistance to terrorists.
Search was in terrorist funding case
According to the report, Parvez Khan was arrested in a terrorist funding case lodged last year, which was being investigated by Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK). Police say that Khan worked as a ‘courier’ for the terrorists and had contact with active terrorist organizations.

According to sources, Parvez Khan was arrested from Nizamuddin area of Delhi on Wednesday night. He was staying in a guest house from 12 February, where his room was on rent of Rs 1,000 per day. During interrogation, he told that he used to trade in the wholesale markets of Delhi and Chandigarh to sell Kashmiri shawls and used to come in these cities for a few months every year.
Kashmir will be produced in court
After the arrest, Parvez Khan was produced in a Delhi court on Thursday, from where CIK received his transit remand. He was then brought to Kashmir by police vehicle. Now he will be produced in the local court.
Arrest has been done before
According to police sources, Khan is a resident of Srinagar and earlier he was detained in Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu for two years due to his involvement in terrorist activities. At present, the investigating agencies are questioning him, so that more information can be collected about the terrorist funding network.
