While the central government is trying to make women self -reliant, the state governments are also giving priority to women’s development. After Delhi and Maharashtra, the Haryana government has now made an important announcement for women. During the Haryana assembly elections, the BJP had announced to give Rs 2100 per month to women when the government was formed. Now the Haryana government has told which women will get the benefit of this scheme and when.
Promise made in election manifesto
Haryana CM Naib Singh Saini gave this information. The assembly elections will be held on 5 October 2024. The result will come on 8 October 2025. The BJP won here with an absolute majority. The promises made by the BJP during the elections played a big role in it. The guarantee was to give Rs 2100 to the woman. The BJP had announced in its election manifesto that it would provide financial assistance of Rs 2,100 to women every month when the government is formed.
This plan will start after March 7
The BJP has announced the benefit of Lado Laxmi Yojana to women between 18 and 60 years of age. Now the biggest question arises that which women will benefit from this. Budget provision of 10 to 12 thousand crores
The government has decided to limit the scheme to economically weaker women. The state has 52.95 lakh BPL families, out of which about 50 lakh are women. A senior official of the Finance and Planning Department said that a budget provision of Rs 10,000 to 12,000 crore has been made every year for this scheme. To avail this scheme, women will have to submit several documents including PPP, birth certificate and family income certificate.
