Suicide explosion in Pakistan : In Pakistan, concerns have arisen once again about the safety of the players, where the Champions Trophy is currently being played. There is a suicide attack in Nowshera district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing five people, including Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani, and 20 were injured. The explosion occurred during Friday prayers in the madrasa.
No group has taken responsibility for the attack yet.
According to reports, the explosion occurred in Akkora Khattak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Officers are investigating the case and the dead and injured are being taken to the hospital. However, no group has taken responsibility for the attack in Jamia Hakkania yet. This madrasa is known for its relationship with Afghan Taliban. There are about 4,000 students in its huge campus, who are provided free food, clothes and education.
The explosion occurred before the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which is expected to begin after the moon is seen on Saturday or Sunday. It is noteworthy that Pakistani madrasas are working as a breeding site for terrorism, where thousands of refugees are granted education, which have no other option for education other than inflammatory speeches of radical clerics.
