Kangana Ranaut-Javed Akhtar Case: The 5 -year -old legal battle between Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar is over. Kangana had filed a defamation case against Javed Akhtar in 2020 and since then there has been a rift between the two. In such a situation, it has now been revealed that the agreement has been reached between the two. Regarding this, Kangana said, “There has been an agreement between me and Javed Akhtar.”

Kangana shared a picture with Javed Akhtar on her social media story on Friday 28 February. In which both are seen posing in front of the camera smiling in the court. Kangana also wrote, ‘Today Javedji and I have solved my legal case (defamation case) with mutual consent.’
Kangana further wrote, ‘Javedji is very kind and humble. He has also agreed to write songs for the upcoming film directed by me.
What was the dispute between the two?
In 2016, there was a dispute between Javed Akhtar and Kangana Ranaut. At that time, the issue of Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan was going on and their emails were making headlines. Since Javed Akhtar is close to Hrithik Roshan’s family, he called Kangana to his house and asked him to apologize to Hrithik.
At that time Kangana did not respond to this, but after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020, Kangana made serious allegations against many Bollywood celebs. Along with this, he also raised the issue of Javed Akhtar in a TV interview. Kangana alleged, “Javed Akhtar called me to his house and threatened that he would not leave me if I troubled Hrithik.”

The court later dismissed the Kangana Ranaut case as weak, while the defamation case filed by Javed Akhtar continued. But now both have reconciled each other.
