Anupamaa is one of the top shows on television. Currently, the track of Rahi’s wedding is going on, and of course, everyone is expecting that soon there will some twists and turns in the show. Now, according to a report in TOI, a new character is all set to be introduced and reportedly, Manish Goel has been roped in to play the pivotal role.
A source told the portal, “While specific details about his character and the upcoming storyline are under wraps, the role is expected to play a significant part in the narrative. The makers have nearly finalised Manish Goel, and he will begin shooting for the show shortly.”
Another report in Telly Express has claimed that Manish will be seen as Rahi’s biological father and his entry will bring twist in the narrative. Meanwhile, the makers have not yet confirmed anything about Manish’s entry in the show.
Manish has been a part of the industry for more than two decades. The actor started his career in 1996 with the show Just Mohabbat, and later he was seen in shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Mehndi Tere Naam Ki, Bhabhi, Saara Akaash, and many more.
In 2020, he was seen in a show titled Hamari Wali Good News, and after that he took a break for four years from television, and made his comeback last year with the show Kyunki… Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai.
While it is not yet confirmed whether Manish is entering the show or not, it will be interesting to see if the actor’s character will have a love angle with Anupamaa. The TV show has been known for breaking stereotypes, so it won’t be surprising that they once again get a romantic track of Anupamaa.
