This is the first time that the house of an accused involved in drug trafficking in Punjab has been demolished in this way.

According to the information received, the police carried out this action in the road area of ​​Patiala. The two -storey house of the female drug smuggler Rinki living here was demolished by bulldozers. According to the police, Rinke was involved in drug smuggling for a long time and several cases have been registered against her under the NDPS Act. Her husband, who was involved in this illegal business, died some time ago.

 

 

The police administration had already evacuated this house to maintain law and order. This is being reported in Punjab where such strict action has been taken at the house of a person involved in drug trafficking. According to the Patiala police, the accused woman Rinki is currently absconding, but the police is searching for her. A total of 10 cases have been registered against Rinke so far.

‘Drug smugglers will not be released at any cost’

It is noteworthy that the Punjab government is continuously campaigning against drug addiction in the state. For this, a special committee of cabinet ministers has been constituted under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema. The government has made it clear that drug smugglers will not be released at any cost.
