India’s most modern and world -class film city is going to be in Noida. The construction of Yamuna Film City in Gautam Budh Nagar district may begin in the late March or early April.
This ambitious project of the Uttar Pradesh government includes filmmaker Boney Kapoor’s company ‘Bevyuui Projects’ and ‘Bhutani Group’.
Shooting of films is likely to begin in Yamuna Film City from 2027, and it will be a great option for producers from Bollywood to Hollywood.

Land handed over to Boney Kapoor, foundation stone will be found soon
On Thursday, filmmaker Boney Kapoor reached the Yamuna Development Authority’s office, where he was officially occupied the land of Film City.
Bhutani Group CEO Ashish Bhutani was also present on the occasion.
Boney Kapoor said that this film City will be the best film city in the world.
Prior to its construction, India and other Film City in abroad have been studied.
A film institute will also be built here, which will provide employment to the local youth.
How will the infrastructure of Yamuna Film City be?
Yamuna Film City will have every facility for filmmaking, which is in any international level Film City.
Film Village – Residential and shooting spots for actors and crew members.
Film Studio – Shooting Space equipped with state -of -the -art technology.
Commercial Complex – Where there will be malls, shops, offices and other business facilities.
Hotel, Guest House and Food Court – Best features for artists and crew.
Shooting will begin in the first three years, and it will take 8 years to become the entire film city.
More than 300 films will be shot every year
Boney Kapoor said that more than 300 films will be shot every year including Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Bhojpuri and English in Yamuna Film City.
It will be developed in such a way that there is no need to go abroad for any location.
Every type of shooting location like forest, mountains, deserts, beaches will be prepared here.
1,510 crore will be invested on film city production
The construction of Yamuna Film City is estimated to cost Rs 1,510 crore.
It will develop in three stages:
In the first phase – All facilities related to film production will be prepared.
In the second phase – infrastructure will be developed.
In the third and final stages – business activities will be promoted.
Boney Kapoor and Ashish Bhutani also met the farmers affected by land acquisition and heard their problems.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone
Dr. Arun Veer Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Yamuna Development Authority said:
“On Thursday, the producer company for Film City in Sector-21 was given the land occupied. Boney Kapoor was handed over the capture sheet.,

Shooting will begin here three years after the foundation stone.
