Alan Musk’s company SpaceX has successfully launched its third lunar landing mission. The mission is also carrying a payload of the US space agency NASA. Its purpose is to detect snow deposits at the southern pole of the moon. Indian space agency ISRO successfully launched its lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 in August 2023 about one and a half years ago.
America on the path of India
Alan Musk’s company SpaceX successfully launched its third lunar landing mission, IM-2. The mission is carrying NASA’s payload to investigate the ice on the southern pole of the moon. SpaceX launched its third lunar mission, IM-2, the mission will discover snow on the southern pole of the moon using Falcon 9 rocket with NASA’s payload. The mission of India was also to investigate the southern pole of the moon. Now NASA is also moving in this direction with the help of SpaceX.
The mission of SpaceX is carrying Ethena Lander with the help of Falcon 9 rocket. It is a re -purpose rocket. This mission, known as IM-2, is being headed by interactive machines, which is making its second effort to land on the moon after the IM-1 mission of the previous year. The IM-2 lander is using many scientists. It also includes NASA’s payloads designed to detect snow reserves near the southern pole of the moon. During the previous attempt, SpaceX’s mission landed on the moon but overturned after reaching there. Now the company aims to achieve more stable and accurate touchdown this time. If the lunar mission IM-2 of Allen Musk’s company is successful, it will further strengthen the role of private companies in the space sector. In addition, it will also support NASA’s Artemis program, under which it will be able to send humans to the moon and bring them back.
The first mission crashed.
Last year, Elon Musk’s SpaceX created history by becoming the first American company to land on the moon over 50 years. However, due to the sensor malfunction, the IM-1 lander landed on the lunar surface very quickly. While landing, one of his legs broke and he bowed to one side. It is now being claimed that the intersection machines have sent the mission back to the moon after dozens of reforms. Now SpaceX’s lunar mission is trying to land directly on the moon.
