Devotees are eagerly waiting for the visit of Kedarnath Dham located in Uttarakhand. Everyone is eager to visit Chardham in the year 2025. When the doors of the Kedarnath temple will open, it has been announced. This year the doors of Lord Kedarnath will open on May 2 at 7 am. A large crowd of devotees gathered at the throne site amidst the rain on the Mahaparva of Shivaratri.

 

On April 28, Baba Kedarnath’s doli will leave for the winter capital Dham and on May 1, Baba Kedarnath’s Doli will reach Kedarnath.

The lid closes due to intense cold.

The doors of the world famous 11th Jyotirlinga Shri Kedarnath Dham were closed on 3 November with Vedic customs and religious traditions with the devotional tunes of the Indian Army with the shouts of Om Namah Shivaya and Jai Baba Kedarnath. During this time, a large number of devotees were seen dancing with devotion to the tunes of the army band.

It is noteworthy that the doors of Kedarnath Dham are closed every year as soon as the winter starts. After this, Baba’s palanquin leaves for Omkareshwar Temple and Ukhimath, the place of worship of Kedarnath. After this, for the next 6 months, Baba Kedarnath is worshiped at his winter throne Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath.

Lord Shiva himself has appeared.

Lord Shiva’s self -proclaimed Jyotirlinga is present as a huge rock in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. There is a stone statue of Goddess Parvati outside the sanctum sanctorum and the assembly pavilion has statues of five Pandavas, Lord Krishna and Goddess Kunti. There are stone sculptures of Shri Ganeshji and Shri Nandiji at the main gate. There is an Amrit Kund on the parikrama path. On the eastern side of this road, there is a stone statue of Bhairavnath ji and Shankaracharya Samadhi is about 50 meters towards the north-west, in which a new statue of Shankaracharya has been installed in the year 2021. About 200 meters east of the main temple, the stone statue of Lord Bhairav, the protector of Kedar region, is installed on a new rock.
