Ind vs pak ct 2025: Former Pakistan cricket team captain Imran Khan has expressed disappointment against India’s defeat against India and embarrassed out of the Champions Trophy. This information has been given by his sister Alima Khan. After meeting the former Pakistani Prime Minister in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, Alima revealed that Imran Khan was disappointed with Pakistan’s poor performance against arch -rivals India in Dubai on 23 February and said that cricket had ruined it.

Pakistan’s crushing defeat against India

In a high-profile match of the Champions Trophy in Dubai, Pakistan suffered a crushing defeat to India by 6 wickets. India easily achieved the target of 242 runs on the basis of Virat Kohli’s brilliant century.

Alima said, ‘The founder of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) has expressed great grief over losing the match against India. Imran watched the match while in jail.

Imran Khan also questioned the capabilities of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Mohsin Naqvi and expressed disappointment on the appointments of the current government in key positions in the cricket administration.

Alima said, “Imran said that cricket will be ruined when favorite players are held in decision -making positions.”

Najam Sethi made serious allegations against Imran

On the other hand, former PCB president Najam Sethi has accused Imran Khan of the decline of Pakistan cricket during his tenure as Prime Minister.

Najam Sethi, who resigned from the post of PCB president after Imran’s election, claimed that the former captain tampered with the infrastructure of domestic cricket, which collapsed Pakistan’s ‘talent pipeline’.

In 2019, on the instructions of Imran Khan, PCB made changes in the domestic cricket structure. The long-standing system of 16–18 departmental and regional associations was replaced by the ‘first class competition of six teams’.

Emraan’s former colleague Ramiz was appointed as PCB president in 2021, but had to step down after the collapse of Imran -led government.

Sethi said that the decline of Pakistan cricket began in 2019, when the new management led by a new Prime Minister/Patron changed the domestic cricket structure, which served Pakistan for decades and included it in an inappropriate Australian hybrid model Done Meanwhile, political intervention continued and contradictory PCB policies became common.

Foreign instructors were hired and sent back. The selectors were appointed arbitrarily, recruitment of those removed. This led to factionalism in the team, which led to the management. We are going to have terrible results.

Pakistan cricket is likely to continue instability, as interim head coach Aqib Javed can be dismissed only four months after his appointment.
