Indore (Madhya Pradesh): With the aim of making people aware of traffic rules, a short film was released by the Commissioner of Police Santosh Kumar Singh on Tuesday. Some traffic police officers like ACP (Traffic) Hindu Singh Muwel and head constable Ranjit Singh, constable Sumant Singh Kachhawa and city actors like Payal Panchal, Arjun Nayak, Ritik Panwar, Nistha Mourya, Shyam Pandey, Jitendra Tomar, Usha Panchal, Tilak Dwivedi and others have played roles in the film.  

The road safety awareness short film “I Love Traffic Rules” was released by the CP in the presence of additional CP (Law and Order) Amit Singh, additional CP Manoj Kumar Srivastava and DCP (traffic management) Arvind Tiwari and other officers in the auditorium of the new police control room.  

Releasing the short film, CP appealed to citizens to follow the traffic rules for their own and other’s safety and said that through this film, an attempt has been made to make people aware of traffic rules. The film depicts that despite a sister’s suggestion to her brother to wear a helmet, the brother refuses to wear it and dies, the father drives the vehicle after drinking alcohol that too without putting on the seat belt and consequently loses his life. It also depicts a minor driving the vehicle at high speed and the traffic police advising his father to teach the children road safety and not allow them to ride vehicles.

When the driver violates the red light, the traffic constable tells him the importance of road safety etc. Many such aspects have been shown in this short film. The message of road safety will be conveyed to people through the film in schools, colleges, institutions, print/electronic media, social media etc.    CP also praised the traffic management police team and artists for their efforts in spreading the message of road safety through the short film and honoured them with certificates.
