The seventh match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which was to be played between Australia and South Africa at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, was canceled without throwing a single ball. The toss of the match could not be done due to bad weather, and after waiting for three hours, the authorities decided to cancel the match.

Both teams got one point each

Due to the cancellation of the match, Australia and South Africa had to be content with one point each. Both teams made their first debut by winning their first match in Group B – Australia defeated England, while South Africa won against Afghanistan.

England-Afghanistan match now like ‘knockout’

After this result, the equations in Group B have become exciting. The match between England and Afghanistan on Wednesday has almost become a ‘knockout’ match. The losing team of this match will become the third team to be out of the Champions Trophy 2025.
