Husband Kills Wife By Strangulating Her Over Suspicion Of Extramarital Affair In Delhi |
New Delhi, February 25: In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife on suspicion of extramarital affair in Delhi’s Nand Nagri area on Tuesday (February 25). As per reports, the accused who has been identified as Aman (24) murdered his wife at his house in Nand Nagri by strangulating her today afternoon.
The accused reached the Harsh Vihar Police Station and told the police that he has murdered his wife, after which a police team took the accused into their custody and initiated an investigation into the matter.
They also went to the crime scene and found the dead body of the 20-year-old woman strangulated. They took the dead body into their custody and later sent the dead body to GTB Hospital. The woman was declared dead at the hospital. The post-mortem of the dead body was conducted.
A case has been registered under Section 103 (1) BNS at Nand Nagri police station and investigation is underway.
Police Statement
Delhi Police said, “On 25.02.25 at about 5:00 pm, PS Nand Nagri received information from Duty Officer, PS Harsh Vihar that Aman, age-24, son of Mohan Lal, resident of Nand Nagri has come to PS Harsh Vihar and he told that he has murdered his wife some time ago in Nand Nagri.”
“Immediately, the team of Thana Nand Nagri reached Thana Harsh Vihar and took the alleged Aman into custody and took him to SOC i.e. the place of incident, the third floor of the house. On reaching the spot, the body of Aman’s wife, a 20-year-old woman, was found strangulated. Crime team and FSL team were called to the spot and SOC was examined and the body was taken to GTB hospital, where she was declared dead.”
“The victim was married to the accused Aman in November 2023 and since the marriage, there were frequent quarrels between the two. Aman strangled his wife to death in a fit of rage at around 2 pm today on suspicion of an extramarital affair.”
