Tamil Nadu CM statement on language war: Keeping in mind the National Education Policy (NEP), the issue of three language policy has become a hot topic between the NDA -led Center and the Tamil Nadu government. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. on Tuesday (February 25) amidst the ongoing controversy with the Center over the alleged imposition of Hindi Battle seeds are being sown for the language. To this, Stalin replied, ‘Yes, of course.’ But, we are ready for this. ‘

Tamil and English are sufficient.

The ruling party DAK is opposing the triple policy and is emphasizing that Tamil and English are sufficient in Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, he has also accused the BJP -led NDA government at the Center of forcibly imposing Hindi. However, the central government has denied these allegations.

Discussion on Lok Sabha delimitation issue

Speaking to reporters after chaired by the cabinet meeting at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister said, “It has been decided to call an all -party meeting on 5 March to discuss the Lok Sabha delimitation issue.” Tamil Nadu is under threat of losing its status. Because, the state has successfully implemented the family planning program, causing population control. The sword is hanging on the southern states due to delimitation. The state was a pioneer in all development indices. However, now the Lok Sabha seats are under threat after delimitation. Because this process is based on the population of the state. Tamil Nadu has achieved success in population control through its family planning program. Such a situation has arisen alone that the Lok Sabha seats will be cut in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu’s voice is being suppressed

Talking further, Stalin said, “We are going to lose eight seats and as a result we will have only 31 MPs, not 39 (current number).” Our representation in Parliament will be reduced. The voice of Tamil Nadu is being suppressed. Political parties registered in the Election Commission of India will be invited for the all -party meeting, in which I have appealed for solidarity by keeping political differences separate.

We should separate from the party line and speak for Tamil Nadu’s rights.

Speaking further on the issue, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu told Stalin that a sufficient number of MPs are needed to raise their voice in Parliament on issues like NEP, Central Finance and NEET. This is a matter of Tamil Nadu’s rights and all leaders and political parties should speak out of the party line together.
