South Korean heartthrob Lee Min Ho made his K-Drama comeback recently with the show, When The Stars Gossip, but despite the initial buzz, it failed to hold the interest of the audience. The drama finally concluded on February 23, and actor Lee Min Ho took to his social media to thank his fans.
Min Ho took to his Instagram handle on Monday to share a collage of photos featuring his co-star Gong Hyo-jin and himself. Along with that, he wrote, “We are all living in a miracle. I hope you always be happy and have more brilliant and precious moments.”
He signed off the note saying, “Thank you for watching – Gong Ryong.”

Gong Hyo-jin too shared a gratitude message via her management. “This is the space station. I will now read Commander Eve Kim’s final letter. Just the fact that When the Stars Gossip made it to the world after a long filming process and post-production already feels like an achievement. As an actress, I was drawn to the charm of this fresh storyline, and I hope viewers enjoyed following along just as I did… and that they were able to experience the diversity of Korean drama genres.”
She went on to say, “To all the viewers who loved When the Stars Gossip, a drama that felt both unfamiliar and honest, I sincerely thank you (sic).”
When The Stars Gossip revolved around an astronaut named Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), a gynaecologist who is a space tourist on a South Korean space station, and Commander Eve Kim (Gong Hyo-jin), who is an astronaut. While the two begin on a wrong foot, soon love blossoms between them, but the show did not have a happy ending.
The show premiered on January 4, and fans were excited as it marked Min Ho’s return to the small screen after several years. But it failed to impress the audience and the viewership numbers too fell drastically over time, and it finally concluded on February 23.
