Muzaffarnagar BTech student gang -raped: A case of rape of a BTech student returning home from college has come to light. A young man from his village standing at the bus stand took him to the forest on his bike on the pretext of giving him a lift.
In the incident at Charathwal in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, it is alleged that the girl was raped by three of her already present in the forest. The victim reached home and told the whole incident to her family. After reaching the police station with family members, the victim lodged a complaint against the accused and registered a case.
The girl was waiting for the auto after getting off the bus at the bus stand.
The victim, a resident of a village in the police station area, said that she was going home from the college on Saturday. After getting off the bus at the bus stand, she was waiting for the auto to go to her village, when an acquaintance of the village came there on the bike. He said, ‘I will leave you home on my bike.’ On the pretext of giving the lift, he took the girl to the farm, where three of her friends were already present. Where the accused raped her. The police have registered a case against the four accused and are taking further action.
The search for the accused is going on on the basis of the victim’s complaint.
Police said that the victim is a student of B.Tech. The girl was returning home at around two o’clock on Saturday afternoon. After this, an acquaintance carried out the incident on the pretext of giving a lift on the bike. Station in -charge IPS officer Rajesh Dhunawat said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against the accused Himanshu, Sagar, Siddharth and order. All the accused are absconding and their search continues. The site has been inspected.
