CAG Report: After leaving Delhi, the CAG report showing irregularities in the functioning of the Aam Aadmi Party is to be presented in the assembly today. The proceedings of the House have started with the address of the Lieutenant Governor. However, the opposition created a ruckus opposing the CAG report. Due to which the speaker suspended all the 22 MLAs of AAP. Kejriwal formed the government based on the CAG report, which was discussed in the past of Delhi. At that time, he also made sharp attacks on former Chief Minister Sheila Dixit and demanded to be sent to jail. But now the CAG report released today has revealed that they themselves are involved in corruption and irregularities.
The government was formed on the basis of which it lost power.
When the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Delhi in 2014-15, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a scathing attack on former CM Sheila Dixit, who was ousted from power on the basis of CAG. He also demanded that he be sent to jail for corruption. Now in 2025, this CAG report has brought trouble against Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal.
AAP government accused of corruption
The CAG report mentions alleged irregularities in the renewal of Chief Minister’s Housing and Mohalla clinics by the AAP government. Apart from this, there has been talk of embezzlement in other development works. Based on the report, the BJP government of Delhi is attacking the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal.
Kejriwal enlisted the help of CAG.
During the Delhi Assembly elections in 2013-14 and then Arvind Kejriwal accused former Chief Minister Sheila Dixit government of corruption in the 2010 Commonwealth Games on the basis of CAG report. A scam of Rs 90 crore took place in the street lighting project. ACB of Delhi was directed to file a complaint against Sheila Dixit.
CAG report was told evidence of 370 pages
During the Delhi elections from 2013 to 2015, Arvind Kejriwal described the CAG report as evidence of 370 pages and claimed that the report had highlighted the failures and corruption of the Sheila Dixit government. A report has been prepared while presenting evidence of irregularities at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Arvind Kejriwal constituted a committee to investigate the alleged irregularities by the Delhi Jal Board in 2012 under the Sheela Dixit government during his reign in 2015 by the Delhi Jal Board.
3000 crore scam
In July 2014, the Aam Aadmi Party demanded action against former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit in a unauthorized colony scam of Rs 3,000 crore.
