Through direct benefit transfer, Rs 22,000 crore was transferred to the accounts of about 9.80 crore farmers across the country. Along with this, development works were also inaugurated. In which about Rs 1,600 crore was deposited in the account of the farmers of Bihar. PM Modi has reached Bhagalpur. After the road show with CM Nitish Kumar, PM Modi reached the venue.

 

19th installment under Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme

An amount of Rs 2000 has been transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts. The Prime Minister is also present in this program along with Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. It is worth noting that in the last 18th installment of PM Kisan Yojana, Rs 20,665 crore was given by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

 

Prime Minister was welcomed by Makhana garland

The leaders of the National Democratic Alliance welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by wearing a huge garland of Makhana. Several senior leaders including Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, CM Nitish Kumar, both deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Minister Lalan Singh, Chirag Paswan were present on the stage.

 

 

 

Addressing a rally in Bhagalpur, Prime Minister Modi said, “Our dear Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is welcome.” Taking a dig at Lalu Yadav, he said that those who can eat animals fodder can never change the situation. The Prime Minister said that earlier farmers had to eat for urea and there was black marketing of urea. But today farmers get adequate food grains. Even during Corona, farmers were not allowed to lack fertilizer.

 

 

 

Welfare of farmers is our priority – Prime Minister Modi

The Prime Minister said, “Friends, I have told the Red Fort that there are four strong pillars of developed India.” These pillars are the poor, our farmers, our youth and our women’s power. The PM said that whether the NDA government is running at the Center or under the leadership of Nitish ji, farmer welfare is our priority.
