“We were sitting on the number 7, 8 and 9 seats in three friends theater. There was an announcement on the screen at the interval that the lucky draw number 9 had come out. We happily reached the manager and said that we are three people, what will we do to a fan? “
Varun Grover got a ‘prize money’ of 100 rupees
According to Varun Grover,
“We told the manager that the fan has three blades, we are three people, but there will be no benefit. We suggested that the number of fan is given to us. The fan cost around Rs 600-650. But the manager offered us only 300 rupees. ”
He further says,
“At that time the movie ticket was about 20 rupees, so it was also a huge amount of 100 rupees for us. I thought let’s get 100 rupees thanks to T-Series! But I did not know that later they would earn crores from the industry and my share would be lost somewhere. “
