In a shocking incident, a dog was spotted helplessly stuffed in a jute sack and dumped on a Kolkata Suburban Railway train. A commuter onboard suspected something concerning in the sack placed in the coach after it showed some movement. The commuter alerted the cops and opened the bag in their presence, only to spot a dog stuffed inside.

The poor animal was put into the suffocating baggage, which was tightly tied. The dog couldn’t escape by itself unless a man travelling in the coach noticed a slight movement in the jute sack and saved the animal’s life.

A video from the Barasat Junction in Kolkata, West Bengal captured officials entering the coach and rescuing the dog. The commuter opened the sack in their presence and released the animal.

If not for a kind commuter who noticed the movement inside the sack and decided to open it, this innocent soul might have suffocated to death”.

As the video has surfaced on the internet, it has resulted in an outrage. Netizens have demanded strict action against the miscreant/s who committed this act of animal cruelty.
