However, now there is news of relief! According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of rain in Delhi-NCR between 27 February to 1 March. It may cause light to moderate rain in the entire NCR including Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad. Due to this change, Delhiites will get some relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding this.
How will Delhi temperature be?
The temperature of Delhi was recorded at 11 ° C on Monday morning. According to IMD,
- Maximum temperature: 26-28 ° C
- Minimum Temperature: 10-12 ° C
On Sunday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was 26.7 ° C, which was 1.2 ° C lower than normal, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 10.3 ° C. The sky will remain clear on Monday, but the moisture level can reach 97%. The heat is expected to get some relief from the heat.
Delhi-NCR temperature drop due to rain
According to Dr. RK Jenamani, scientist of the Meteorological Department, the temperature will fall in Delhi and surrounding areas due to three days of rains. He told that,
- The western disturbance will rain on 27, 28 February and 1 March due to being active.
- Due to this rain, the maximum temperature can fall from 30 ° C to 25-26 ° C.
- The minimum temperature currently remains at 12 ° C, which may fall further after rain.
- After March 1, the weather will start to clear, but by then clouds and cold winds will remain.
Rainfall continues in north-eastern states
Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura have received heavy rains in the last 24 hours in North-East India. Apart from this, the Ganges region of Odisha and West Bengal also received good rains. According to the IMD, the rains are likely to continue for the next few days in Andaman-Nicobar and Northeast states due to Easterly wave and atmospheric pressure.

According to the Meteorological Department, due to a western disturbance, rain can be seen in many states of the country in the next 24-48 hours.
