1. Take a bath with lukewarm water

- Take lukewarm water in a big tub.
- Add a few drops of detol or betadin to it.
- Sit for 10-15 minutes so that the stitches are cured quickly and the risk of infection is reduced.
2. Keep the private part dry and clean
- After the bath, dry the vagina with a soft towel lightly.
- Avoid rubbing the stitches rapidly, as it can cause irritation and discomfort.
3. Apply medicine given by the doctor
- Apply whatever antiseptic cream or medicated powder is given regularly.
- This makes the stitches dry quickly and disallow.
4. Take special care of hygiene
- Always keep the vagina and the surrounding area clean and dry.
- Change sanitary pads regularly so that bacteria do not thrive.
5. Do not put pressure on stitches
- Do not put too much emphasis on the stitches while sitting.
- Use soft cushions or donut shaped cushions so that the stitches do not get pressure.
6. Do not wash with soap or chemical
- Do not use chemical soap or wash to wash stitches.
- Until the doctor advises, clean it only with lukewarm water.
