Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal Railway Division has issued 911 Divyang concession cards so far in this session. As per railways, 911 Divyang Railway Concession Cards have been issued so far during the current financial year 2024-25.
Main objective to make the travel of Divyangjan easy and accessible. For making Divyang concession card or any information related to this facility, Bhopal division passengers can contact the helpline number 9630951262.
Divyangjan can now get concession card made through a process.
For this, they have to keep the following documents ready:
Medical Certificate: Issued by District Medical Officer
Passport Size Photo
Aadhar Card and Birth Certificate.
Concession Certificate: It should be certified by the doctor that the person is unable to travel without an escort. Upload these documents on the official website of the railway https://divyangjanid.indianrail.gov.in.
The concession card will be issued after verification of the documents, and its information will be sent to you via SMS. The applicant should carefully give the correct information while filling the form.
Railways provides special discounts ranging from 25% to 75% in fares for Divyangjan passengers. This facility is available for orthopedically handicapped, mentally ill, visually impaired and hearing and speech impaired persons.
The special thing is that the escort traveling with the Divyangjan is also given the same percentage of discount. This concession is determined on the basis of disability and category of travel.
The information of the concession card issued is updated in the railway software, so that at the time of ticket booking, the benefit of fare concession can be availed by just showing the photo copy of the concession card. This facility is also available on e-tickets.
